"Art Activities for the Foreign Language Classroom"

ABSTRACT
Today's teachers are aware of the different ways students learn, but they often find it difficult to incorporate multiple learning styles into their lessons. In this session, the participants will be involved in several art activities presented in Italian. Participants will learn how to use student creation of art to reach students of multiple learning styles, thus facilitating language learning and increasing retention of concepts. Since little preparation time is needed, teachers who use this method can have more engaging and meaningful lessons without the extra work.
