Bio: Koray K. Yilmaz is a doctoral student in the Department of Hydrology and Water Resources. His dissertation focus is hydrologic predictions in poorly gauged and ungauged watersheds. His main research interests are modeling of hydrological processes, calibration of hydrologic models and application of remotely sensed information in hydrologic models. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. He was awarded the World Laboratory Fellowship and Salt River Project Fellowship during his doctoral study. He is also affiliated with SAHRA (Sustainability of semi-Arid Hydrology and Riperian Areas) NSF science and technology center at University of Arizona.
