Bio: Frances is a doctoral student in Psychology with an MS in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Arizona, and a BA in Psychology from McGill University. Her primary research interest is exploring how various cognitive skills converge to facilitate learning across domains. Frances is currently exploring how infants and young children actively behave to maximize their learning efficiently, including emergent use of cognitive tools like memory monitoring. Frances also enjoys playing soccer and hiking in the Arizona wilderness areas.
